Celebrates 11 years of Dragon Boat Racing in Sudbury, On
Each year for 11 years Lake Ramsey has come alive with the pounding of the drum, the slapping of the paddle, and cries of “take it away” as the Sudbury Dragon Boat Festival takes to the water. This year will mark the 11th Anniversary of Dragon Boat racing in Sudbury. The SDBF is extending an invitation to all past participants to return to this year’s festival.
There have been changes to the race course and the festival location this year due to the renovation of the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre. The race course will start by the amphitheatre, ending with the finish line at Main Beach. The main body of the festival will take place in the Main Beach area. Registration for local teams is $1000.00 with a $200.00 non-refundable fee. The out-of-town teams fee is $700.
