Aside from having the fun of being part of our friendly volunteer team and the satisfaction of helping Festival run smoothly, our volunteers are handsomely rewarded for their efforts. - Meals & snacks provided for full-time volunteers on day of festival

Who Needs My Help?
Note: If you were a volunteer last year, do not fill out the online form. Please get in touch with your Committee Chair.
Here are some ways that you can help: - Loading & Unloading Boats
- Marshalling
- Equipment Management
- Starting Docks
- Set-Up & Tear-Down (days before Festival and the Sunday after festival)
- Volunteer Centre
- Information and Accreditation
- Paddler Information Centre
- Parking & Security
- Results
- Floater or Runner
- Children’s Area
- Face Painters in Children’s area
As well, if you would like to assist a particular committee with organizing in any part of this year's Festival, please indicate your preference on the Volunteer Registration Form.
Am I Qualified?
Volunteers must be: - 12 years of age or older
- be able to get to and from the Festival site
- be available for the full day
- some volunteers are required in advance for set up and tear down
Students who are volunteering as part of their high school community service requirement are most welcome!
