BookingsSudbury Dragon BoatsRequest a Coach To replace Dock Training we have decided to have a pool of coaches who will help new teams and teams with a lot of new paddlers learn the sport of dragon boating. If you are interested in having a coach go out with you on your first lake training session, contact the office with your request. Include the date and time of your first lake training session and we will put you in touch with one of our coaches. Learn the proper paddling technique and get pointers for your training and race day from a skilled coach. Steersperson Clinic - May 27, 2010 - Sudbury Canoe Club This is mandatory training for the novice steersperson. The session lasts one half hour in a motorized dragon boat with a experienced steersperson giving instruction and allowing each of 4 steerspersons some steering experience. Contact SDBF Office to register. Lake Training - May 31-July15, 2010 - Sudbury Canoe Club Four Lake Training sessions are included in the registration fee for local teams. If you are interested, extra Lake Training sessions are $30 each. Book practice time through the online registration and scheduling system. Novice Coach Clinic - June 9, 2010 at 6:00pm - Sudbury Canoe Club For new coaches with little or no experience - classroom and on-water lesson. Come learn to make your practices more enjoyable and effective! Clinic will be cancelled only if the conditions are dangerous or there is no interest - rain or shine will go out.
